I have seen a lot of posts about the Dell 365 BT Module not being detectable or installable on the Windows 10 Insider Preview.I got mine working, here's how:Dell support has a driver package (R226746.exe) for this module (I downloaded it for my M11xR1) - it's driver version A02.Initially the main route to installing it (Setup.exe) wouldn't even run due to compatibility issues. I went around this program (all it does is detect the OS version, from what I can tell) by going to the folders within the extracted folder and navigatingto my OS version (i.e. C:delldriversR246Win64) and running Inst.exe. If you have 32 bit Windows 10, just change the 64 to 32.When I did it that way, the driver package and software installed without any hiccups or issues. Now Bluetooth works again and I can tether my phone and/or hearing aids to it.Try it on your system and post below if it works.
Hello there,I used the same workaround with Windows 10 technical preview and even Windows 10 after its official release, however with a newer version of the driver. A03 is available on Dell's website (look for R235168.exe)or even a newer versoin available at Lenovo's website that allegedly supports Windows 10None of those work on the two latest builds of Windows 10 if you are on the insider program to get the newest builds early.
It does not work with builds 10525 and 10532.The official Broadcom driver won't work eitherI have not been able to have the bluetooth module work, maybe it will get fixed soon. I also had this problem.I had done upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. But I had this problem and other. I recovery my windows to old image backup windows 7, I had made this image before accept run upgrade and after download files windows 10 by MediaCreationTool.exe.after recovery, I open drive 'C' windows and copy folders '$Windows.BT', '$Windows.WS' and 'ESD' in other drive. Than I go to 'C:delldriversR246Win32svcpack' and run 'SetupBluetoothDFU.exe' and into windows of this program, I select 'LS.dfu'for reinstallation my firmware of card Bluetooth.Than I take image backup of my windows into other drive. I restart my PC and run DVD windows 10 for install again this windows and delete all file to drive windows of my PC and install windows 10 into the same drive. After finishing, I go to my windowsand send folders '$Windows.BT', '$Windows.WS' and 'ESD' to same my drive windows.Than I go to 'ESD' and I opened folder 'Windows' and run 'setup.exe'.
I accept upgrade and don't accept add app and personal files for install and copy into new upgrade windows. (this file upgrade windows after upgrade is in $Windows.BT and $Windows.WSis hidden and stay to a month.) Now, my windows haven't it problems. My windows was active and accept for Microsoft.Than, I go to my dell DVD drivers and open file of The first version Bluetooth driver for my PC (my driver is 'R226746'), and run this file.
After finishing, I go to C:delldriversR246Win32 and install 'Inst.exe'. Now I haven't any problem.
